Three months ago Naturelle had the pleasure of welcoming three new employees: Wibo Goes, Anita Zoeteweij and en Efrain Saucedo Nunez. They have clearly enriched the Naturelle team with their fresh knowledge. “We expand our team in order to be able to respond effectively to developments in the growing market for organic vegetables and fruit”, explains Berry Olsthoorn, Naturelle’s Commercial Manager.

Wibo, Anita and Efrain (from left to right) quickly felt at home with Naturelle. “That’s due at least in part to the extensive induction training we had. This allowed us to study all shed-related aspects and to visit Naturelle’s organic growers, as well as to get to know the Commercial department really well,” says Wibo.

Wibo sells organic vegetables and fruit on foreign markets on behalf of Naturelle. “In the organic fruit and vegetable market, price is not the only criterion. This is quite different from what I’d grown accustomed to with my conventional background. Naturelle and its customers attach great value to sustainability. For example, we’ve included organically grown Fair Trade fruit in our range and we sell many of our products in biodegradable packaging material. We also believe it’s important to minimise the supply chain from grower to customer.”

Efrain, who supports Naturelle in serving the Dutch retail sector, also feels quite at home in the organic world. “When I lived with my parents in Mexico we already ate organic food. That’s why I really wanted to work in this sector.”

Anita is concerned with purchasing and selling industrial vegetables and fruit. She too is quite enthusiastic about working for Naturelle. “There are so many aspects to my job at Naturelle. That’s what I like most about it. Naturelle stands for organic vegetables and fruit straight from the field, and that’s very much part of my job. I visit our organic farmers almost every day! At those visits I learn a lot about the production process, which really helps me communicate more effectively with our customers.”
