This news item is to notify you about the implementation of the new EU organic logo on Naturelle packaging.

The logo will be obligatory on all pre-packaged organic products of EU origin. From 1 July 2010 the new logo will become compulsory for all new products. A transition period has been granted until 1 January 2012. The new EU quality mark can be used alongside the existing national variants. As well as the green version, there is also a black/white version.

From now on, Naturelle will use the logo on new sticker designs and packaging. With existing designs the packaging and stickers in stock will be used up first, so as to avoid unnecessary costs. This will be decided per individual customer. We expect to be able to supply all stickers and packaging with the new EU logo within six months. This is far in advance of the expiry date of the transitional period. We will continue to display the national organic logo on all stickers and packaging.
